Maisara Shamshul Aizan

A dedicated advocate and solicitor recently admitted to the Bar in March 2024, Maisara brings a strong expertise in Conveyancing law, with a particular focus on sub-sale transactions, and a comprehensive understanding of Syariah law. Holding a Postgraduate Diploma in Syariah Law and Practice, she has a deep knowledge of Syariah Court procedures and is skilled at navigating both civil and Syariah legal landscapes.

Maisara has gained valuable experience at leading law firms, including her role as a Paralegal at Messrs Zainul Rijal Talha & Amir, where she was responsible for drafting and reviewing key legal documents such as contracts, leases, and property transfer documents. Her meticulous attention to detail ensured the accuracy and timely exchange of legal documents, while her ability to liaise with estate agents, solicitors, lenders, and local authorities enhanced her client service and project management skills.

As a Pupil-in-Chamber at Messrs Anita Paramjit & Associates, Maisara was exposed to various aspects of legal practice, including managing client communications, resolving complaints, and supporting senior lawyers with legal research and document preparation. Her proactive approach and professional demeanor contributed to the efficiency and success of the firm’s operations.

Her internship at Kompleks Mahkamah Shah Alam further strengthened her legal acumen, allowing her to observe court proceedings, participate in land matters and mediation sessions with Court Registrars, and learn firsthand about the judicial process.

Graduating with an LL.B (Hons) from Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia, Maisara gained expertise in diverse areas of law, including Competition Law, Reproductive & Technology Law, and Space Law. Her Project Paper, titled “Alzheimer and the Law,” reflects her analytical skills and passion for exploring complex legal issues. She also participated in the prestigious Dato’ Hanif Hassan UKM Mooting Competition, honing her legal advocacy and argumentation skills.
